Meet Mikey & Zoey
We’re Mikey and Zoey Donaldson, a husband-and-wife creative team and the owners of Blooming Seed Media since 2021. Our journey began at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where we developed our passion for visual storytelling and the art of capturing meaningful moments.
We believe that every story has something beautiful worth telling. Through film and photography, we love creating imagery that feels genuine, tells a story, and captures the emotions behind each moment. Whether we’re documenting a wedding, working with a small business, or bringing a creative vision to life, our goal is always the same: to create something thoughtful, timeless, and full of meaning.
At Blooming Seed Media, we bring our individual perspectives together to tell stories in a way that feels personal and authentic. We’re grateful to do what we love, work with wonderful people,and bring ideas to life through thoughtful, creative visual storytelling.
OUR PROCESS
We have a 5 step process to ensure the success of our projects and the satisfaction of all our clients
Collaboration ● Pre-Production ● Production ● Post-Production ● Delivery
Step 1. COLLABORATION
Collaboration is key for any successful project. Our first step is setup a 30 minute discovery meeting (in-person, phone, or zoom) to discuss your ideas and ensure we’re the right fit for you. Our goal is to collect as much information as possible to guarantee we can deliver the product you’re looking for. We value our clients ideas and input.
Step 2: PRE-PRODUCTION
Once we’ve decided to move forward, we enter the planning phase. This is where we lock in our “game-plan”. We draw up project outlines, treatments, and shot lists. We handle all aspects of pre-production including securing locations and actors if necessary. We take all of the information from our collaboration and write out our ideas for you to review.
Step 3: PRODUCTION
After our client approves our “game-plan” it’s time to move into Production. The actual creation phase. Utilizing the latest cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment, we strive to make production as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Interviews and pictures have never been easier. We pride ourselves on our ability to create authentic, genuine content even from those who aren’t as comfortable being in-front of the camera. We always have the utmost respect for you and your place of business.
Step 4: POST-PRODUCTION
Where everything comes together in the Editing room. After we put the finishing touches on our project, we collaborate again with our clients. We always give them an opportunity to review the project and request any revisions.
Step 5: DELIVERY
After we receive final approval from our client, it’s time to deliver the content. Currently were able to deliver all our products within 10 business days. So you can expect a finished product within 2 weeks of our last production day. We’ll email you a link where you can easily download your Videos and Pictures
